Inspired by Brian's fascination
with the life and times of bees

What's up with bees lately?
Considering that they are a vital part of our world's ecosystem
I encourage all readers to learn a little something about them.

If we depend on their survival,
shouldn't we try to gain a better understanding of them
and how they live
in order to help them?
Perhaps we will learn something about ourselves
in the process...

Isn't it funny how we don't care about the environment or it's creatures
until they're ultimate downfall begins to affect us?

Please feel free to post your fun facts in the comments section.
I would love to hear what you all come up with!

BEES!

Insects all started out with two sets of wings. Bees have evolved to have their wings held together with little clips so that they take up less space when their burrowing deep inside the flowers to collect their sweet pollen.

Bees have been in decline recently because of a virus which has just been identified ... Some other theories have been that they were being effected by microwave radiation from cellphones.

I read somewhere that Einstein claimed that if bees disappeared, then man would have only four years of life yet.

We better start doing all those things on our to do lists.
