Hello! Well, even though I got back from my trip 6 months ago, I am still trying to get through some of my photos from India, Nepal and Thailand. These shots, and the previous entry's, are from an amazing site just North of Bangkok that is called Ayuttaya. All around this city are cites of ruined temples, some in meadows, some with elephant tours walking through, some are huge, such as the site from this post. This city was one of my favourite parts of my entire trip! It was so ethereal, ancient, beautiful. I felt like I would turn into an ancient goddess in stone to awake only in the moonlight to dance in the temples when no one else was watching. I had many really touching moments this day, and my only wish is for my memory to recall it with detail and vividness and to not slip away from me like a dream. So, enjoy and stay tuned for shots from the Calcutta Botanical Gardens with Rohini, Marko and Salima. These gardens house the largest Banyan, "people tree," in all of Asia!
