I have been studying about "The Indigenous City" this week. 

What are the stories of 1st Nations living in the city? 

What images do we see and what stories are told?

There are some inspiring community artists working in Canada to give voice to the 1st Nations peoples and who are also working towards creating a sustainable future. If you are interested, you could check out Kamala Todd, Kent Monkman, or Jeff Thomas. Edgar Heap of Birds has some really cool work, however he's from the States.

Canada has an amazing history and so much of it is untold... I guess all we can do now is make sure our stories are told.
